Thanks for your reply. It's a 65 HP, the linkages move freely. The muffs are just the average rubber suction variety attached to a garden hose. I also tried starting it in a barrel of water. It revvs FULL out ...but what concerns me even more, is the volume of it. Sounds like a dirt bike...
