    cavitation plate question

    where should this be in relation to the bottom of the (V) when the engine is mounted correctly. Should it be even,just below,or just above? Mine is even and the boat list to the left and steers hard. Would you rase it and if so how high? I'm in the top hole now....mercury 150 hp...21' aluminum...

    I have a mercury 150 black max. How hard would it be to replace the seals? I have done this on small outboards but nothing of this size. Thanks

    looking someone who owns 150 merc black max

    I have a 1993 150 Merch black max that smokes up the whole marina when i start it and it loads up on slow speeds.I just got this engine at the end of the last boating season. Sold a bigger boat and took this in on trade. I would like to talk to someone who has the same engine.......Thanks
