Getting ready to tow a 19' Bow-rider:
The boat specs that I can find say it should weigh around 2200lbs. And the trailer (Shorelandr roller 1986) might be around 400lbs. (?)
When I took it to the scales today it came up at about 3600lbs.
Should I be worried about this, or does this sound...

Recently purchased a 1987 SeaRay for a winter project. (It is fun, but I am in it over my head!)

Switched it over to electronic ignition and adding a new coil at the same time.
I did not realize that the existing coil had external resistor, while new one just says 12 volts...
I am installing an Alternator Conversion Kit to a 1986 470.
I overtightened one of the bolts that goes through the Water Pump Housing and broke the threads. The threads came out with the bolt. Now coolant is leaking from it and I cannot tighten Bolt.
