ok guys an gals ...i pulled my old 3.0 out an put in a used complete motor ....i used my manifold,riser,carb an distributor motor starts an runs ...but i have rough idle ...i plan to replace points, cond , an cap this week end ...i sprayed around manifold an base of carb for leaks an didnt find...
i found a used 3.0 that was just rebuilt , got complete motor with flywheel cover an hub ....when i swap the bell housing an hub do i need a line up tool (like doing clutch on car)
i have a maxum 1800 with a 3.0 mercru...i found another motor an im in the process of pulling old motor out ...any tips or any help would be helpful an many thanks for the info given....
