how do i richen up the carbs i boughta rebuild kit and installed everything but im not sure where is a good starting point to set the carbs as far as how many turns on the screw
ive got a 86 125hp that is not firing on the 3rd cylinder. i asumed it the igntion coil so i replaced that....no it wasnt...still not firing i swapped electrical leads on the back of the ignition coil from the 3rd to the 4th cylinder(orange and red leads)....3rd cylinder still not...

was doing some preventative maintainence on my motor today and found #3 from the top cylinder spark plug was crystal clean. i have a repair manual but i like getting tips from here. where should i start looking. im gonna swap some cables to make sure it aint a bad plug but i am not...

well i took my boat out yesterday and it ran horribly right off the trailer. i took the cover off to look at it and when i fired it up it ran great. put the cover back on and it would stall out again. cover off ran good again. ive replace just about every tune up thing on here...
i have three question actually.......
1) i just redid the water pump impeller and now upon restarting in a tub of water it aint shooting water out of the two holes in the rear of the engine really just getting light steam. is there any way to prime the pump. my muffs dont work that well...
so i got this cheap boat from friend of a friend i went to change the water pump impeller and broke 2 of the bolts holding the water pump on. any idea on how to get these out i.e is it ok to put heat on those ive had penetrating fluid on them for a day and still broke the heads.
