OK I just bought this boat and it has a 1999 Yamaha 200hp VMax on it. It came with 2 props....a ski prop and a power prop. Anyway, with the ski prop on the castle nut tightens down far enough to slip the cotter pin in. But with the power prop on I'm not able to take the castle nut down far...
Hi all,
Getting pretty frustrated here. I have a 1976 Mercury 150hp motor. To get it started I have to use starting fluid. After that it runs fine until it's been shut off for a while. Any ideas on where to start my trouble shooting? It'll turn over just sounds like it's not getting...

I found an 89 Cajun bass boat. It's a 17' with 150hp merc and a trolling motor. the boat is in decent shape. Some fading on the fiberglass. The trailer is in decent shape. Some rust. The guy wants $1500.00. Doesn't that sound awefully low?

Mike
