I had an alarm last time the boat was taken out. found out it was low oil pressure. hooked up a gauge and at idle its only 5psi the pressure rises when revved up but is not holding steady.
is there anything i need to check other then replacing the oil pump? i changed the engine oil and filter...
I am working on a 115hp mercury that has an alarm but no codes when a tech mate computer is connected. it is alarming when the throttle is opened and closed quickly. the alarm will go away sometimes when the throttle it moved back and forth from forward to reverse. i have never seen this before...
