    1993 Johnson 40 J40EETB

    I am wanting to make this motor a 50 hp.I have done so far, 50 carbs with 49D hs jets, upper carb #31 ls jet, lower carb # 29 ls jet, 50 reed stops, CCMS fiberglass reeds. I have seen no performance gains after these mods. Plugs are QL78YC I looked on CDI website and they recommend QL77JC4...

    1997 Yamaha 25 2 stroke 2 cylinder

    I have this motor on an Xpress 1546VJ. Motor is on a jack plate 10" back and 2.5" above bottom of boat. It runs pretty good for a 25. Is there anything that I can do to this motor to improve top end??
