    Hoses would also be measured by their inner diameter, so the 1" OD of the fitting goes into a 1" ID hose.

    I think the threaded part is 3/4" NPT (NPT threaded pipe is measured by inside diameter). Not sure that will help you find the part.

    Also might see if an automotive wheel bearing puller set might have the right combination of pieces to do the trick. Might be able to get one on loan from an auto supply store.
