Its a 1971 6 horsepower Evinrude. The gear on the rope pull is a little too far from the teeth on the flywheel. The gear is plastic and was brand new when I got the motor. After only 20 pulls or so the teeth are getting chewed up because it they are grinding with the flywheel teeth due to too...
I am in the process of refinishing my 1971 13' Whaler. I want to repaint it inside and out. What would be the best way to prep the floor? It has a pattern made up of tiny squares that would be impossible to sand. Should I just pressure wash it and rinse it with acetone?
