Carb was sourced from a company here in winnipeg. It does have the points ignition system. Spark plugs came out all used and old but none had the clean look of water in the cylinders. Engine oils dirty but no signs of water in it. All the carb gaskets are new so what other gaskets are prone to...
I have a 3.0 that i cant get to idle properly, it will run only when throttle is increased. Ive checked the following.
Compression is good and even across the board.
Good spark/new spark plugs
Drop tested each cyclinder and they all drop the RPM so its firing on all 4.

New to me motor did not come running. Compression is okay but had no spark on #5 cylinder. New switchbox and it has spark on all 6 cylinders. Rebuilt the carbs with new gaskets and seals and all New lined and tank, New plugs.

Seal will be here this week just a question instead of just doing it. Do I need to lift the plate out and pound the seal out from the bottom or am i able to pry and replace from the top
Confirmed leak at the shift bellow. I'm assuming from looking at the part diagram that the bellow is also the oil seal for the shift shaft. Can't source the part oem or aftermarket. Any one try and use rtv on this bellow? I know it's not a great fix but if I can't find this bellow I'm resorting...
