My Friend has a 22' Criscraft CC straight inboard. 200 HP engine 13X13 prop. Boat wieghs about 3300 lbs. Boat moves too fast when trolling to pull tube and worm. He is running at about 5 mph, needs to get down below 3. Any suggestions on repropping?
My son bought a boat that will need to stay in the water (salt) this winter. We both know very little about I/Os. How do you winterize an I/O that will be in the water during the freezing weather?

Runs for 20min to an hour and then cuts out. Doesn't seem to be over heating but it will restart after an hour or so. Any thoughts? I am familiar with the compression, spark and fuel routine with a 2 strke but 4 strokes are new to me.

This is a minor pain but a pain nonetheless. In gear at about 800 RPM, runs fine. Above 1200, runs fine. In between at a medium trolling speed, rpms drop and it stalls. Takes a couple of attempts to restart. Fuel pump, carbs?
