I have a late model Evinrude 25hp that has been acting like it is slipping. I took the prop off and had it rebuilt(new bushing and all the gouges repaired), the first trip out afterwards it started doing the same old thing. It acts just like a car with a worn clutch (lots of RPM's no UUUMMMPH!)...
