hi i just got a seadoo xp,all i see is the plate on the engine and it says,4138858 657 type,rotax.i am looking for the year of this thing.does anybody know were to look?on the hull someware.thanks
engine idles fine but when i give it gas the engine reves up and down up and down and thats it.new plugs and fresh gas.does this thing have a rev limiter?i am running it with a garden hose hooked up and the engine and it is running cool so it's not overheating.any ideas? thanks :(

i got a 86 bayliner capri 16ft,i want to sand and paint the bottom without the trailer there.can i jack up the back with a floor jack and use blocks with wood to support it and use a engine hoist with a strong strap around the front and drive the trailer out from the boat?is this a good idea...
