I have read he manual that i have but it is very ambiguous. How do i adjust it upwardly. It has dropped in position .108 thousands.
The gap where the washer is i my pic is .108, and it should be no more the .010.

Its a 1972 Sea Ray w/ a Merc 888 (Ford 302).
I separated the exhaust bellows from the outer housing, so I could pull it down and inspect it away from the drive shaft bellows.... Its looks fine.
Strangely, the replacement exhaust bellow is short and doesn't connect to the transome,..... i guess...
