Cylinder #1 at TDC. Single hash mark on flywheel lines up with hash mark on the motor. Woohoo!

My tach is pegged at 6k with the motor off. With the motor running it fluctuates between 5k and 6k.
I'm pretty certain the tach is bad. I tested the rectified per the manual and it checked out. Does anyone what pole it is and a good place to buy a replacement?

So I finally got around to finishing my 120 L-Drive build (new crank, pistons...the works). I button her up and press the magic button and she fires to life. YES!!!!! And then begins to scream at high RPM's like there's no tomorrow.

I've got a freshly bored block, fresh crank, new pistons, new bearings and gaskets but my rods have some light pitting on the big end. Where... oh where can I get new rods? Or can I let it slide? How will the pitting affect the new roller bearings over time?
