    Tachometer Settings

    I have a tach on my pontoon boat that only has 4 pole settings. 4/6/10/12 I was told that I needed to set the tach on 3 for my 2003 Yamaha 70hp 2 stroke motor but don't see a "3" setting. Anyone got any info? Do I need a different tach?
