the engine that has the bad alternator has the power steering pump.
I guess in the spring I will have to chase wires on both engines and se which engine is doing what.
I have dual mercruiser 260's on my new to me boat. Do both engines normally have an alternator on them.
I think one is bad just wondering if 1 alternator is enough to charge the batteries. Never had dual engines before so this is all new to me.
