Hi I posted yesterday but got no response and am waiting to hear back from Yamaha still. I have a 04 9.9 outboard and there is a small but consistent stream of water running from around the teflon seal that is held in place by the oil drain plug. I noticed a "O" which is inbetween the oil drain...
Can anyone tell me if its normal for a small stream of water to be running out from the area of the engine block drain plug. It is not coming from the actaull engine block as there would be oil running from there also. It appears to be from around the teflon washer.
