My other two concern with Legend 15 All sports are, 1. Only 40HP engine, 2. No ladder.

Legend is 2019 model, and Mirrocraft is also 2019.
Legend comes with a 40HP merc, I think towing weight is around 1400lbs, boat weight is around 1100lbs. No ladder. Length is 15ft

Seller told me the engine runs fine most of the time, then slowly goes from top speed to an idle.
Wondering what could be the problem? is it a easy fix or expensive fix?
BTW, it is oil injected or mix?

It is, he said it is working fine, and he also add some oil to gas just in case VRO fails. Looks like the Yamaha guys wants more $$$, so it is probably CAD 1.5K or 2K over evinrude
Thanks, so Evinrude 1990 70HP is VRO, and 2003 Yamaha also has oil injection system, so no need to mix oil to gas for both. And in this regards, Yamaha's oil injection is much better than Evinrude's VRO?
