I have a 93 Johnson 40hp with no spark. Have replaced the coil and still no spark. Now I am going through the trouble shooting tests I was directed to by a reply to my earlier post. I see two types of ignition systems mentioned and need help figuring out which one I have.

I was given some suggestions on my last post and am now in need of some more help. My 93 Johnson 40HP will not start and I have no spark. I disconnected the large red plug in the engine and jumped the starter from the battery, still no spark! Any suggestions? Thanks in advance, Lee.
