I'm doing a waterpump, gearlube, anode, change along with an aeorosol overhaul on my lower unit. The Johnny Rude dealer talked me into going with their synthetic. I've drained the old oil and am ready to install new but, should I do some kind of flush first or just run with it?
Thanks for all the help guys! Our little 9.5 is running nice. Cold start on the first pull. Once warm it idles good. Goes in and out of forward, nuetral and reverse. I've been running it in a large rectangular tub and am able to run it in gear up to about half throttle with no problems.
