The 17' pontoon boat we bought used came with a Minnekota 55 thrust trolling motor. It mounts on the front and has a dedicated battery.

Pontoon we purchased has storage under two flip flop seats only. Looking for recommendations for storage. We've thought about a deck box or Rubbermaid tote. Even thought of another seat.

Previous Bayliner 21' inboard open bow owner. Just purchased a 2005 Apex Gillette 17' with Nissan 9.8 hp 4-stroke. Boat hasn't seen water since fall 2013 due to death of previous owner. Motor started a ran with muffs with no issues
