I'm looking at buying a boat powered by a mercury xr 6. Believe it's 1999 or maybe 2000. Current owner says it's low hours but honestly that's a pretty old motor. I'm having a mercury service outfit check it out. Any thoughts about this motor in particular. If it is actually in good shape...
