I have a 1988 28 horse SPL.I had to put a new power pac in it a couple of weeks ago.Now the engine starts good put won't cut off with switch,I have to cut the fuel off at the carb.What have I done wrong?Any help will be greatly appreciated. Bill

I am looking at a mid 90's merc in the 100 hp range.When you build the carbs it will run(good) 1 time.When the motor is cut off it will not start again until the carbs are rebuilt again and then it's the same all over again.1 run and rebuild. Any ideas?
