Does anyone know if you can make a 40 HP driven by a hand control like a smaller 9.9? We have just purchased a 40HP on a 14 ft fiberglass boat. VERY BASIC BOAT for our kid. There is no console in this boat, so I was just wondering.....
I need some parts for a used motor we bought. It is an Evinrude 40 HP Model# 40253E. Need some things like wiring harness, engine cover seal, starter, and shop manual. But I can't do this till I find out the year! Anyone out there to help?
