    65 Johnson/ 70 evinrude

    Hope someone can help me with info. I have a 1973 65hp Johnson hydra shift with a screwed leg. And thanks to an unhonest individual I now have a 1981 70hp evinrude with no compression. Can I take the leg from the evinrude and put it on the Johnson if I change it as a complete unit. Thanks

    1973 65hp johnson

    Hope someone can help me please. I have a 1973 65hp johnson that hit a rock and broke the lower housing (this is a powershiftII hydro shift not elec) anyway I have found a 1979 60hp with a cooked engine. will this lower unit interchange complete, or just the housing, or nothing. Thanks Buck
