hello again guys,<br /> happy to say i found the problem with the afore mentioned engine. had the ignition grounded thru the black and yello wire from the switch to the cd packs. cut the wire at the red engine plug and disconnected the 4 coils to prevent starting. then checked for fire at...
no fire to plugs. have replaced everything under the flywheel, cd packs, rectifier and all wiring on motor. no change except now we have intermittent fire at rectifier yellow wires while cranking which we did'nt have before.<br /> any help would be appreciated.<br /> buckman
