    died on plane

    1986 120hp alpha 1. just as i got on plane it died. no flappers, #3and 4 plug tips were flattened , i am sure i got water, checked compresson 145 all cylinders, if water gets into cylinder can it flatten plugs? does not look like they were hit,

    wireing help

    120 hp merc, a539791, when i pulled the engine for the trasome leak i uhooked the wireing plug some of the wire ends came off the wires and the wires came out of the plug, not sure which goes where, don had put a link to my manual one time but for some reason i cant find would some one please...

    ok i have a 2.5L alpha 1, wot is 4800 one person, rpms too high, book says 4300 max, i have a useing a 15x17 prop on it now, i was told if i use a 14 1/4x19 four blade prop my rpms will be around 4300to 4500 still giveing good hole shot and about the same top end, i aint good at math is this the...

    motor pull for leak?

    86 glasstream with 120hp merc and alpha 1, put it into water after the bellow and bearing change, found it leaking where the exhaust hooks to transome, seal gone i know. but what i was wondering can this be changed whitout pulling motor out, or maybe the best way to put it is has anyone changed...
