    It took a while but I finally got my Starcraft 2212 on the water.

    It took a while to get her just like I wanted but she was purring on the water. She ran great at the Beaumont Yacht club.

    Have you ever had to use a sea anchor in bad weather or for any reason. I was actually given one by a fellow boater he was cleaning out old stuff and offered it to me. I know what its used for but is it something the avg boater uses.

    Why do transoms go bad on boats?

    I been in boating for years and never really understood why transoms go bad on boats. Is it that water gets in he mounting holes for outdrives and outboards. Is it that water gets in holes for transducers? There seems to be a ton of fixing transom post.

    Routing transducer wire over transom instead of through it.

    I was wondering how many have run their transducer wires over their transom. The plug on my Elite-4 dsi is kinda big. and the size of the hole lol is oh no... My boat is a starcraft 2212. In my old Mako the wires ran over the transom.
