    raymarine sounder

    hi i have a raymarine e series mounted sounder that stopped working checked wiring seems ok put multi meter probs in the holes of cord that screws in the back of sounder ,it read 12.47 still nothing put in to marine electrician checked ok said he updated stuff ,and still not showing anything...

    motor stopped

    while cruising along the motor died heard a bit of a rattle then nothing ,when i turned the key there was just a click ,the starter would go up to fly wheel then nothing just clicking and buzzing.the motor is an 1981 evinrude it was starting fine ,any ideas please .:facepalm:

    steering cable

    I have a 70hp evinrude 1980 mod with cable steering running down the right side ,after freeing up the cable because it would not budge using a bit of heat & hammer it .I now only have limited steering to the right and full steering to left,how do i fix this problem please.

    70 wont start

    :facepalm:hello help needed i have a 70 evinrude 1980 model,i started it up at home i usally use the fast idle to get it going and worked as usual ,the motor went for a bit then stopped and now wont fire at all just keeps on winding with no hint of firing into action.checked plugs, fuel lines...

    leaking rams

    I would like to know how to fix a leaking ram on trim and what sort of fluid to use to top it up . i have a 1980 evinrude 70hp,any advice much appreciated thanks.

    70 evinrude

    i have a 70 evirude 1980 ,not long had a full rebuild the problem is it is difficult to start when wanting to change fishinig spots.when it goes it runs well at top speed then idols ok but let it sit for a while and it takes a good 6-10 times before it will fire up. any help much appreciated.

    clicking motor

    hello i have 70hp evirude 81 model, when i try to start it all i get is a clicking sound in motor.tried to pull start,but nothing ,any suggestions.thanks..

    feul mix

    could some one plse give me correct fuel mix. I have a 1981 70hp evirude . also could you explain it as if i had to fill a 20ltr tank how much oli i will need.thnx sorry first boat no idea.
