    Definitely, it’s a 30 year old boat. Looks nice in the pics but that can be hiding a lot. Nothing wrong with asking for a sea trial. If they say it’s not possible walk away.

    Pull the spring towards the bobber and it will expose the slot your line goes through.

    Is there room to move the trailer winch back so the boat is flush or hanging over a hair so you can put the tabs in the proper spot and fill the old holes?
