    96 merc 125 shift cam damage

    While coming off plane I accidentally shifted into reverse. After that I couldn't get reverse engagement, just gear clash noise. Forward still worked. Disassemble and inspection revealed damaged shift cam in lower unit. Wear pattern on gears and cogs appeared a liitle off but still serviceable...

    '95 merc 150 charging system

    I have a '95 150 xri that seems to be not charging as good as it used to. It seems to have some output, but not like is used to. Could this be the stator or one of the voltage regulators? I have no idea how to diag??? :confused:
