I have a 1983 merc 70 hp It runs great for about 15min then I give it gas and it dies I have to keep pumping the bulb to get it going agin.I have a 6 gallon plastic tank ??is do I have to have the tank vent open is that why my bulb is only half full all the time.

My 69 85hp V4 lower unit is frozen its at the repair shop he wants to much to rebuild so when Im on ebay etcs what do i need to look for will there be certain years or electomatic I very confussed theres some v4 on ebay but how do i know if thell fit mine.Thx much

i recently towed my boat with the motor up.when i got home i went to lwr the motor and all i hear is the pwr tilt motor the hydrlics will not go up or down i have tried numerous things as per my service manual.any suggestions please i have run out of patience.
