    I would like to know everybodys opinion, im replacing the u-joint bellows tube on my 1987 omc cobra. The manual says to use glue on the bellows tube where it connects to the drive, I have heard some people dont use glue, so im not sure whether to use it or not?

    1987 3.0 omc front engine mount shims

    1987 omc 3.0. The front engine mount, where it bolts to the block has a shim on each side of the mount. My question is Crowley marine says it takes two shims on the starboard side does anyone know why it needs two and not one??

    where to buy an engine block 3.0 omc

    Where is the best place to buy an omc 3.0?? It has a 1987 3.0 in it now, sad thing is the guy i bought it from, just bought it new last summer, only has 100 hours on it. I dont understand why some folks dont winterize properly!

    milky motor oil

    I bought this boat the oil is milky, havent had a chance to change it and see if it happens again but is there a chance its just drawed moisture or the guy didnt change it for a long time?? /

    trim sender question

    I have a 1987 2150 bayliner ciera sunbridge with a cobra outdrive. It has the trim sender on the transom bracket but no gauge or light in the dash, is that common on these models??

    tachometer question

    I have a 4 cyl omc inboard, my tach is a us marine, on the back of the tach it has 1-4 postions, its set on 2 is that the right one for a 4 cyl engine? or does it go by the number of poles on the alternator?

    omc 5/16 hose??

    I have a 1987 omc 3.0, was wondering what the 5/16 hose is for that comes out of the bell housing that goes to nothing it just lays in the bilge??
