I'm about to replace the impeller and housing in my old 35. The last time I did it was 1999 and I'm having trouble remembering how the shift linkage comes loose to remove the lower unit. I can't see anything near the power head.
I have a 20hp 4 stroke Mecury tiller control. I have a stick steer I'd like to use, but I still need a remote shift and throttle. I'm not internet savvy and can find anything definitive.

I inherited my grandfather's 1953 Evinrude Fleetwin 7.5 outboard. The rubber cone that keeps the shear pin secure is dry and hard. I don't trust it to keep during use. I've tried ebay etc. But I could do better if I had an OMC part #. Any gurus out there with a book or something? The old motor...
My 4hp Belgian made Johnson 4hp needs a sleeve for the top cylinder. I have had no success finding the sleeve and limited success finding used engine cases. All the cases are the wrong year. I've searched this site and ebay. Any ideas?
I have this old motor that came off an old sailboat. The engine runs but has low compression in the top cylinder. Hard to find parts if I don't know what it is. :) All I know is that it's an OMC and it's small.
Took it out today for the first run. Did great for about an hour and then started bogging down, almost like it was running out of fuel. Didn't make a difference weather it was on run or reserve. I limped it back to the trailer and headed home. Gonna check the fuel filter if I can find it. Maybe...

I have a 1986 Johnson 4hp Belgian motor that has a plastic prop. I use it in some fairly shallow water and would like a spare prop to keep on hand. I can't find anything specific. I'll try to get a part # off the old prop and see if that will help.
I have 3 props that I got with my 1975 Evinrude 25hp and had a couple questions.
1: 2 of the props don't have the size/pitch listed on them. All they say is "Michigan" "PJ" "16" What pitch are they? The third prop is a 9 1/4 x 11. They look the same as the third prop but are they the same?
