    Year of Mercury 9.8 hp 110 Thunderbolt engine

    I have looked every where to match up the serial # off of my Mercury 9.8hp 110 Thunderbolt outboard engine, but can't seem to find an answer to what year it is. The serial #3448039 IEKHAFER is on the engine, but doesn't match up to any serial #'s for this hp motor on any sites. Can anyone help...
