So currently I'm running a 2006 Optimax 90 hp. with a 13' prop with 19 pitch( Alloy ) ..with a fin. I'm getting under perfect conditions and only one person in boat 38 mph at 5600 rpm trimmed on the end of pushing air ...any chop or wind 32-34 at 3400 rpm. My boat is a 1992 Starcraft SFM 17...

Does anyone know where and how I would or could install a tach on a 1992 75 hp merc$ I'm trying to select a new prop and need a baseline to start from.

So I've got a 1990 Spectrum Blue Fin 1606 (a full floor front casting platform side console boat )with a 1992 Mercury 75 hp 2 stroke.The 75 hp is max for the boat The boat tops out at 32 mph.(don't have a tach) and eats a ton of gas.It planes out quick but performs the same whether by my self...

Does anyone know what years a Mercury 75hp ,3 cylinder engine with the wrap around cowl was produced? I'm looking at buying one but the owner isn'tsure of the year and it's a bit of a drive for me just to look at it without pretty much committing ahead of time.

So i've got a 90 dt30 without e/start. Will it still have a charging system to hook up to a battery? Also looks like it has a trim feature..Is that correct?

So I just picked up a shed fresh 1990 suzuki dt30...3 cylinder 3 carb oil injected. It's pretty much been sitting for 4-5 years so we drained the carbs and pumped sea foam and gas through them. It fired up OK but leaks from the top 2 carbs..Is a rebuild pretty much in order? Thanks in...
