    gauges

    Does anyone know where I can get gauges for a 1984 Starfire 150. The trim gauge doesn't work. I assume it's a water pressure gauge & the depth gauge. The one that is s spinning light bulb. It works but doesn't have the face or glass on it. Thank's for any help.

    carb adjustment

    Help, I think my 1981 Merc 150 is running a little rich. guy I bought the motor from says there is no way to adjust the carbs. It idles rough for a few minutes then dies. It will crank back up & run fine for about a minute then the rough idle starts again & dies. smokes quite a bit also. gonna...

    slow to plane & max rpm.

    Bought an 84 Skeeter Starfire w/ a 150 Black Max. Had 2 cyls w/ low to no compression. Found an 81? 150 hp & swapped 'em out. Now she run's like a champ but it takes a long time to get on plane. I have to trim the motor all the way down so that it almost touches the transom. Would like to know...
