    Merc stuck in forward

    Hi, <br />I just installed a new powerhead on an 87 merc 90hp, 3 cyl. I cannot get the lower unit to shift to neutral or reverse. The problem is in the lower unit, not the cables/controls. Does anyone know how to troubleshoot and correct this problem? Any info would be helpful.
