G'day, I have the chance to get a Mariner 9.9hp really cheap, the only problem is that it was used on a yacht and had an extra long leg (25inches)fitted when purchased. I want to use it on my 12ft runabout which only has a short transom (15 inches). My question is....how easy is it to shorten...
