I torn down my 1989 Johnson 140 HP outboard before Christmas to rebuild water pump. Put it back together today and may have switched o-rings. Where does the fattest O-ring go in the water pump? I put a narrower one under the impeller on top of the flat plate and am now thinking that is where the...
1972 eska 7 hp outboard with forward neutral shift is always in forward gear. When I shift to neutral I hear gear noise like it is trying to come out of gear, but prop still spinning.In forward it is fine.
Any help with trying to fix the shift on this? Thanks
