Sometimes after a long run the engine wants to idle fast but not all the time
When it is acting up and I go from Neutral to forward or reverse it almost wants to stall
Thinking it might be the IAC valve but not sure
Any body had these symptoms before?

original trailer and a 1964 motor still in working order

This is my first B3 drive
Took it out Sunday for my first alone drive
at 1000 rmp pushing water I feel a vibration not major just a roughness (might just being not used to the boat)
vibration completely gone at anyother setting
even at WOT 5300 rpm

Problem
when I add power to get on plane ( but not every time ) the engine loses all power just like you pulled the plug or turned the bat. switch to off
it happens for a split second maybe 2 or 3 times and after...
