I have a 1991 88hp spl, I was wondering if a trim unit off of a 1998 johnson 150hp faststrike unit would fit my motor. I tried to get a cross referance but couldn't find anything online. I thought you all on here would know about these things. Thanks for checking this out for me.
Had to replace the trigger and the stator on this motor to find out the switch boxes were bad. I took the eight bolts out of the top of the fly wheel hub and did not mark the fly wheel to the original position. The hub for the fly wheel is keyed so the timing did not change for the trigger. My...
