    If you cover treated plywood with resin will it last forever? It seems to me resin should prevent water from getting in.

    I found out that transom is so bad I am afraid to sell a boat. I found some info on inet like a Seacast mix etc. I think it is a top level job and if you do that nothing is scary anymore in boat problems.

    Fuses and circuit breakers AQ171A

    Electrical system was screwed up, I fixed it. My diagram doesn't say amps for fuses. 3 in engine system: 1.circuit breaker starter-ign switch 2. fuse ign switch - starter relay 3. fuse ign. switch- gauges and ign module Also navig., wiper motor, bilge pumps.     Bad carburator float or float valve, Solex AQ171A

    I was pumping gas to carburators with manual pump and noticed gas spraying inside carbs. First I was thinking about valve but float can be bad giving same problem. Did you guys have same problem? Is it safe to remove float w/o removing carburator? If this is valve problem is it bad needle or seat?

    There is no choke in my Solex carb, help.

    I can barely start AQ171A, I don't see chokes on twin carbs. There is a wire going nowhere from top of one of them. Smart guys help beginner!!!     Smoking 90 Evinrude 90 h.p.

    Is smoking normal for 2-cycle engine? It smokes when idling but I never took it to water. It starts not from 1st sec. and runs OK (no shaking). I am a car mechanic, don't know about 2cycle engines. Thanks.
