Engine is an Merc 5.0 in a 1988 Wellcraft 210 Classic. The serial number on the valve cover decal has worn off. Is there anywhere else I can locate it ? Sorry for the dumb question.
I was cleaning out the cabin area of my Wellcraft 210 Classic last. I removed the middle cushions that covers a a cubby hole and found this jelly like substance covering everything that was under there. It seems to not have a smell to it. Any ideas as to what this is and what is causing it ?
For the life of me I can't find a carb rebuild kit for my merc 5.0.
Went to Napa and Advanced Auto and asked and all I got was the deer in the headlight stare. Can someone help me ?
