i have a 1968/69 evinrude 9.5 sportwin. i have the flywheel off. does the points plate come off in one piece or do i have to disassemble it into pieces? i am trying to replace the pull rope. how do i check the waterpump also.
can i hook a 69 9.5hp sportwin to a steering wheel, throtle, and ignition? i just bought it to reduce cost and be on a closer lake with a 20hp limit. i can live with the pull rope but would like to hook to my steering wheel and throtle.
