    1970 60hp evinrude triumph. has good spark on 1st and 3rd cylinders. intermittently on 2nd cylinder. where should i begin? also is the amplifier the samething as a "powerpack" thanks

    engine runs on the muffs but not in the water?

    anybody have any idea what would cause this? I can run it in the driveway all day, but today when i took it to the lake it would not start. pulled the boat and it fired right up. what gives? its a 1970 60hp evinrude. thanks for any input

    let me start by saying i replaced all fuel lines and vaccum lines today. when i start the motor it idles fine but if u take it up to half throttle it begins to bog down. Anything after half throttle the engines dies. i should also add that the motor was running fine until i sprayed carb cleaner...

    noticed a strong odor of gas today around my outboard. pulled the cowl and noticed some fuel around the pump. i dried it off and squeezed the primer bulb and noticed fuel coming out of the hose going into the crankcase. and i also noticed some fuel coming out of what looked like a little weep...

    1970 evinrude electric shift trouble part 2

    Ok im having trouble gettin to the shift wires that come out of the lower unit. So my question is. If i use a jumper wire directly to the green wire in the control box would that allow me 2 shift in neutral if everything in the lower unit is functioning properly? also would water in the gear oil...
