the wires on my outdrive position sensers are trashed what is the best way to run new wires without total teardown of outdrive? my gauge is always on the up position and yesterday i found out the wires were completely rotted from juntion box to the sensers. could i hook new wires to old ones...
just wanted some input on a 19ft citation i think its got volvo powerplant thought about gettin lowdown from owner looks to me its been neglected for a couple of years think it would be worth my time opinions helpful thanks beginning to like this forum be safe
cant find problem with alternater just put it on new now wont shut off with key and when i do turn key off it stays runnin and tach reads max also does volt gauge if i unhook red wire it will shut down ok despertly need advise
i have a charging problem i put new alternater on and it charges around 15.5 or more and when i shut key off it stays runnin if i disconnect the hot wire from alt it will shut off by key if i leave it hooked up and turn key off it also jumps my tach to max same with battery gauge
