    replaced stator, now the tach doesnot work.

    I have a mercury xr2 150 hp v6 1988 and just replaced oem stator with a Rapair CDI stator, now the tach doesnot work right , It moves alittle but not even close to where it should be. Any ideas???

    replaced stator with CDI, tach problems

    I got a 1988 mercury 150 hp xr2 v6 outboard, I just replaced the oem stator with a rapid CDI stator, now I have little movement in my tachometer. Any ideas what could of happened?
